Four Seasons has a loyal following. For those in the US there are some properties that are especially popular. With the travel restrictions currently in place, I know a lot more people are traveling domestically rather than dealing with the complexities of international travel.
In this post I wanted to talk about the Four Seasons Santa Fe, which is a great option for a socially distanced getaway. I also wanted to share the best way to maximize value for a stay at the resort (which is to take advantage of promotions and book through a Four Seasons Preferred Partner agent).
In this post:
Four Seasons Santa Fe basics
New Mexico is a spectacular part of the country in terms of the landscape, architecture, and more. The Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe overlooks the Rio Grande River Valley and the peaks of the Jemez Mountains, and is just a short 10 minute drive from downtown Santa Fe (which can be accessed using a complimentary shuttle).
The Four Seasons offers everything from a 10,000 square foot spa, to the award-winning Terra Restaurant, to a heated outdoor pool, to a gym, and much more.
For those who like adventure activities, the Four Seasons will be especially fun, given all the hiking opportunities available from the hotel, not to mention other outdoor activities, like whitewater rafting.
The Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado is a roughly one hour drive from Albuquerque International Airport, or about a 20 minute drive from Santa Fe Municipal Airport.
Four Seasons Santa Fe room types
The Four Seasons Rancho Encantado Santa Fe has a total of 65 casitas and suites.
The Four Seasons has a total of 55 casitas in seven different categories:

Four Seasons Santa Fe deals & promotions
The Four Seasons Santa Fe has a variety of promotions that guests can take advantage of when booking, including the following:
- Through January 1, 2025, receive a resort credit of $150-200 when you stay at least two nights
- Through December 31, 2024, receive up to 20% off when you book at least seven days in advance
Note that none of these promotions are combinable, so you have to choose which of these offers you’d like to take advantage of. Furthermore, the rates you’ll see on Four Seasons’ website already reflect any eligible discounts.
The Four Seasons Santa Fe has a $55 nightly resort fee, which includes features like valet and self-parking, high-speed internet, daily guided hikes, yoga classes, cooking classes, morning pastry and specialty coffee service in the lobby, transportation into Santa Fe, use of the spa facilities, and much more.
Book with Four Seasons Preferred Partner
If you are going to book the Four Seasons Santa Fe, you should absolutely book through a Travel Advisor who is affiliated with Four Seasons Preferred Partner. This is a program available to select Travel Advisors, where they can add value for your stays without it costing you anything extra.
Four Seasons Preferred Partner offers extra perks like daily breakfast, room upgrades, resort credits, and more, all at no additional cost to the guest. Four Seasons Preferred Partner can be combined with any of the above promotions, including the third night free offer.
Just to give an example, the Four Seasons Santa Fe charges a minimum of an extra $30 per night for a rate that includes breakfast, though through Preferred Partner you can get that at no extra cost.
If you’re booking Four Seasons and you’re not doing so through a Preferred Partner agent then you’re doing it wrong.
If you’d like to make a booking at the Four Seasons Santa Fe to get the best deal, and/or have a question about Preferred Partner, you can reach out to Ford at [email protected]. Travel Advisors may even be able to help if you already have existing bookings.
Bottom line
Four Seasons Santa Fe is arguably the best resort in New Mexico (along with the Rosewood Inn on the Anasazi), and one of Four Seasons’ best resorts in the US. It’s also a great destination if you’re looking to social distance, given that all the accommodations here are casitas or suites.
Hopefully the above gives a good overview of the property. If you are going to book the Four Seasons Santa Fe, make sure you’re at least maximizing value by booking through a Preferred Partner agent, who can help you take advantage of any promotions, and add even further perks.
