I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far, and happy new year! I've been at home for the past couple of weeks, but look forward to getting back on the road early this coming week, for a ski trip with our older son, and a review of a points hotel that I think will interest many.
On the points & travel front, it was a pretty slow week for news, as you'd expect, given the holidays. Delta had some major operational issues due to its pilot scheduling software, Spirit Airlines struggled with reliability due to employee sick calls, United nicely caught up with Delta for operational reliability, IHG One Rewards launched its new global promotion, and more.
