I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far. With it being Labor Day weekend here in the United States, it's the end of the traditional summer travel period, which of course has major implications for airlines and the type of travel we see. I'm going to be publishing my report from my recent Europe trip shortly, and also plan to embark on my next review trip in the coming weeks.
On the points & travel front, this week Spirit Airlines filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy (again), Lufthansa took delivery of its first Allegris Boeing 787-9, Delta announced two new Boston transatlantic routes, American announced plans for a Flagship Lounge in Charlotte, and more.
