My flight got credited to 2 different programs…

Something quite strange just happened to me, and I wanted to know if this was normal or happened often because I find it odd.

Last week, I had a flight from Amsterdam to Lyon (France) on KLM, that I booked on KLM website. I put my Alasaka Mileage Plan number during the booking process so the flight would be credited there.
However, during online check in I changed my mind and put my Flying Blue number.
And this morning, I see that my flight has been credited to my Flying Blue account AND to my Mileage Plan account! Should I expect one of them to go away?

Too bad it was such a short flight 😀 .

As a guess, I’d bet you keep them both. Lucky you!

I’d keep the miles in your account for at least a little while. Worst case scenario would be them realizing the error and clawing back miles and canceling any tickets you’ve used them to book.
