Hi Ben – planning a trip from SFO to Tokyo for 2017.

Which do you prefer overall, JAL or ANA in business class?

His ANA J review is (hopefully) coming soon.

I dont think you can go wrong with either one though the timing on the flights may affect the type of service you get on the flight

Thanks, David. I’m looking to book an award through ANA. Any idea how strict they are about the “family member only” policy for booking an award on their metal with their program? I’m looking to book for myself and a friend. Do they actually require proof of being a blood relative?
