Another new bug with Lifemiles: impossible to book infants or children awards through website or app even at 'full fare' (searching for adults doesn't allow you to put in a DOB later than 2008).
Not worth it.
I use lifemiles all the time because i frequently fly Avianca to Colombia. It is the least userfriendly program, difficult to use, phone service varies from good to useless. Unless you are prepared to deal with subpar customer service and confusing online guidance stay away. And if you do fly US-Colombia on Aviance be aware that seat pitch is only 28" even in the front rows of coach.

They cancelled my Flight without notifying me! Their excuse was we sent it in Spanish?
That's unfortunate but I see it happening. My mom had a transatlantic booking on a frequency that was cancelled and they never notified me (in any language) about the issue. Thankfully I always babysit my bookings so I noticed the issue about 1 month before departure.
I use LifeMiles for UA and AC regional hops. It's the best if you book mixed-class itineraries. Generally, AV is good at seeing and booking UA availability, but doesn't see much in terms of domestic AC mainline capacity. However, it's easy to book regional Air Canada Jazz/Express hops for 6K miles per way.
I no longer see 6k domestic AC awards. They disappeared around the start of the war (at least for me)
