AA.com View Available Seats option removed?

Hi, is it my computer today or did AA remove the option to see available seats on its website?

Hey @Rob in Miami — I still see them, you just have to click the “+” to show more info. Does that help?

Ah, I now see. It is no longer a standard option. Under the Search Tool, it still exists, though.

Yes Jacob- thanks that is the page.
It is simply no longer on my pull down tab options in Plan Travel. I can now find it under the search bar “View Available Seats”. Thanks for the help on pushing me along to find it.

your welcome, the AA view available seats option can “lie” a bit, showing blocked, premium, and taken seats all as the same. The ExpertFlyer seat maps show a bit more info

Aloha Lucky,

My wife in flying to Europe next week and I was going to upgrade her. I am PLEX at AA. I looged in and hten looked for my favorite link on the pull down menus on the home page…View available seats…and it is gone! What happened to it. Now we have to pull up a request to fly each leg, then open the link there. They are trying to make it hard for us! What do you think?
