Multiple credit card applications

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Ben,

you mentioned in an interview that you applied for one particular card every 2 months. Can you tell me what the rules are for multiple applications and offer any other advice for applying.

    Thanks,

    Terry

Most banks actually dont allow you to cancel and reapply and receive a card bonus. Generally, it has to be 18-24 months from when you last had a bonus though the specific rules vary from bank to bank. If I’m not mistaken, Bank of America is the only one that lets you apply for a card every 3 or so months and receive the advertised bonus.
