Anyone familiar with the TSA Gold+ program beyond the ambiguous AI-generated website? Is this a way for the department to offload responsibility, redistribute the department's budget, leverage the infrastructure bill, and/or kind of admit they aren't great at security as currently conceived so it needs to be done radically differently?

@mattt-2 That's a good question. I wrote about Trump's plan to privatize the TSA some time back, but let me now publish an updated post on that, given how the program has launched. Stay tuned! In the meantime, others are of course welcome to chime in here.
