Air France exclusively has its La Premiere first class cabin on just over two dozen Boeing 777-300ERs, operating select long haul flights out of Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG). These planes are in the process of being reconfigured, and Air France has so far updated the interiors of 17 jets.
You'll now find these updated 777-300ERs flying from Paris (CDG) to Abidjan (ABJ), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), Singapore (SIN), and Tokyo (HND), on select frequencies. Obviously this is exciting for those in first class, but it's also positive for others, between the new business class cabins, plus the consistent availability of Starlink Wi-Fi.
What do you make of Air France's plans for its refreshed four cabin Boeing 777-300ERs?
I see AF everyday at IAH it’s always a350.
You may want to check AF274 and AF275 (CDG-HND-CDG), not sure they're flying with LP these days. For sure, AF278 and AF279 have it, as I have an LP booking on one of these coming up very soon.
I wish Swiss would leave the Lufthansa Group. Their old first class was good but the new version is hopeless and with barely 3 seats per flight instead of 8 it won't last long. Why don't Lufthansa group swallow their pride over the Allegris debacle and look to Air France's 4 seats per row, comfort par excellence approach?
No thanks - sitting on a coat hanger is not comfortable .
I just booked CDG-SFO for September and it shows the new config.
I fly F in the US and J across oceans. If I flew F internationally, it would only meant charities would get less when I die. I'll never do international F. Stupidly wasteful it is (Yoda).
I'm booked in one Houston IAH-CDG in late July so IAH is getting it also at some point soon
AF.com displays the new suite from SFO from 13 August.
TLV has been operational again for more than a month…
I have an AF flight booked to IAH in a few months specifically hoping for an upgrade to LP!
@Ben, every JFK flight is showing as having the new La Premier now, per their site and in Sabre.
In September 2025, Air France mentioned that it's considering La Premier for upcoming A350s, but that no final decision had been made. Was Fabien Pelous who made the announcement.
