Hi All, have a long layover in ZRH in a couple of weeks (5+ hours). Arriving from the US and connecting to an afternoon Schengen flight. Does anyone have any recent datapoints for EES? Would like to spend as much time in the E gates lounge as possible before passing through customs, and have not been through ZRH since EES went into effect. Thanks.
Not at ZRH but at LIS- EES was a disaster. My Dads worked and mine did not, we got separated for a while. Neither of ours worked when leaving Porto. Expect that you will be going through regular immigration.
@gurujanitor -- It's definitely a case of "your mileage may vary," but recently when passing through ZRH, the passport control lines weren't long at all. I imagine that if you arrive during the very peak it could be a different story, but I wouldn't expect for it to take hours, or anything.
