It is very nice lounge. I loved food offerings as well. It was not crowded when we were there.
Would I be able to use my day pass I received from Hyatt Diamond renewal to get in even though I'd be flying economy?
PJ: Yes, as nice as it is, this is still a United Club. So this would be a great use of a day pass. Class of service doesn't matter.

That is the size the rest of the world is used to. It's only in the US you have those gigantic cans... 🙂
@Ole, I think he means the cans in the middle section. I've never seen that size of can anywhere except the UK.
The first class lounge in Terminal 2 is a bit small. But offers some interesting food options. Lucky for us there were only two flights leaving in the late afternoon so it was not too bad but if it was noon it would probably look more like this.
@saurab, those are mixer cans containing soda water, tonic water etc. Don't want to drown out the alcohol, hence small cans 🙂
In the beginning, you got access with PriorityPass. I managed to get access to T2 (and the lounge) during a 7 hour layover at LHR, eventhough both my incoming and outgoing flights were at T5.
It's a nice lounge, and the breakfast buffet was really good.
Yes, this lounge is VERY nice. Was not crowded when I was there so I probably didn't notice restroom numbers. Bar area is really cool with great view.
If flying Polaris on United from Houston to London and then economy on Austrian from London to Vienna, shouldn't I have access to lounges in London and Vienna? Got access to Polaris obviously in Houston, but was denied access to United club in London Heathrow and was told that the remaining legs needed to business as well. However, according to this and United website - should have access in connecting and arriving airports as well. Feel as though was incorrectly turned away... Or am I missing something?
