Has anyone else been having any issues with Southwest's Touchless ID opt in? I've tried opting in and out multiple times, each days in advance for each flight yet only ever get the standard PreCheck icon. Any potential workarounds?
COnfirm your PASS ID is correct and the names match exactly.
@isaacc They do. And the PASSID has to be correct if they're giving me standard PreCheck. It's weird though, since it works on AA, Delta, etc.
I've got a flight coming up with WN, but travel so rarely with them that I was just going to wing-it without Touchless at LGA Terminal B, unless there's gonna be another shutdown and the opportunity-cost is severe (long waits). I think Congress passed a funding bill on Tuesday, so probably in the clear on that (but not actual CLEAR, because it's not at Terminal B...sadly. *wink*)
@1990_ It’s definitely not the end of the world — normal PreCheck is adequate. It just irritates me knowing it isn’t working as it should (and that I can’t do anything about it)! Huge fan of TouchlessID though
Yeah, it's worked well for me so far (with American and Delta). Some airlines and airports have had more issues than others. I recall that @peter_ was having issues at LGA with the under-18 joining him in-line when trying to use it in-person.
