World of Hyatt’s first Bonus Journeys promotion of 2025 ended in late March 2025. We haven’t seen a global promotion from the program since then. However, we have seen some offers that are targeted at specific regions and specific brands. The newest of those offers has just opened for registration, so let’s go over the details.
In this post:
Hyatt offering 3x points in Latin America & Caribbean
Between August 1 and October 31, 2025, World of Hyatt is offering 3x points for stays at Hyatt properties in Latin America and the Caribbean. Since you ordinarily earn 5x World of Hyatt points per dollar spent, that means you’d earn an incremental 10x points per dollar spent.
There are some details to be aware of, as you’d expect:
- Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay, and between July 15 and October 14, 2025
- The date range for the promotion is based on checkout dates, so you must complete a stay by October 31, 2025, for it to be eligible
- There’s no limit to how many total bonus points you can earn with this promotion
- Any stay booked directly with Hyatt qualifies toward the promotion, including stays booked prior to the start of the promotion, as well as award stays (though only incidental spending would earn you points)
- Points will post within two to three weeks of completing an eligible stays
- Only one room can qualify toward this promotion; so while you can earn points for multiple rooms, you would only earn the bonus based on one room

Hyatt offering bonus points at limited service hotels
While this was launched several weeks ago, let me cover the details of Hyatt’s other offer right now. Between June 10 and September 7, 2025, World of Hyatt is offering up to 16,000 bonus points for stays at Hyatt’s limited service brands globally, including Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and Hyatt Studios. Specifically:
- If you stay three nights, you can earn a total of 3,000 bonus points
- If you stay five nights, you can earn a total of 8,000 bonus points
- If you stay eight nights, you can earn a total of 16,000 bonus points
Here are the details to be aware of:
- Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay, and between June 10 and September 7, 2025
- The date range for the promotion is based on checkout dates, so you must complete a stay by September 7, 2025, for it to be eligible
- You can earn a total of up to 16,000 bonus points with this promotion, which you’d unlock after staying a total of eight nights
- It doesn’t matter whether your nights are consecutive or all for different stays, as eligibility comes down to cumulative nights over the course of the promotion
- Any stay booked directly with Hyatt qualifies toward the promotion, including stays booked prior to the start of the promotion, as well as award stays
- Points will post within two to three weeks of completing an eligible stays
- Only one room can qualify toward this promotion; so while you can earn points for multiple rooms, you would only earn the bonus based on one room

Crunching the numbers on Hyatt’s promotions
How lucrative are World of Hyatt’s promotions? For context, I value World of Hyatt points at ~1.5 cents each. Just to recap World of Hyatt’s regular points earning rates:
- World of Hyatt members ordinarily earn 5x base points per dollar spent at Hyatt properties
- Elite members receive further bonuses — Discoverists earn an extra 0.5x points per dollar spent, Explorists earn an extra 1.0x points per dollar spent, and Globalists earn an extra 1.5x points per dollar spent
- If you pay with a co-brand Hyatt credit card you earn an extra 4x points per dollar spent
With the 3x points in Latin America and the Caribbean offer, you’re essentially getting an incremental 10x points per dollar spent, which I value at an incremental 15% return. That’s pretty great, and a Globalist member paying with Hyatt’s co-branded credit card could be earning 20.5x points per dollar spent, which I value at a return of over 30%.
With the limited service hotel offer, you’re earning 1,000 bonus points per night if staying exactly three nights, 1,600 bonus points per night if staying exactly five nights, and 2,000 bonus points per night if staying exactly eight nights. Based on my valuation of 1.5 cents per point, that’s like an incremental return of $15 to $30 per night.
It seems to me like it might be possible to combine these two offers on one stay, and I think that’s something that could be mattress run worthy…

Other ways to earn World of Hyatt points
If you’re looking to earn more World of Hyatt points, the good news is that Hyatt points are pretty easy to come by. In addition to being able to earn World of Hyatt points with the co-brand cards, you can also transfer over points from Ultimate Rewards. This is one of my favorite uses of Chase points.

- You can earn a free Category 1-4 free night when you stay at new Hyatt brands with the Brand Explorer promotion
- You can maximize value with Hyatt stays by booking through the Hyatt Privé program

Bottom line
While World of Hyatt doesn’t currently have a global promotion, the program does have two potentially lucrative offers. One offers 3x points for stays at all Hyatts in Latin America and the Caribbean, while the other offers up to 2,000 bonus points per night for stays at limited service properties. If you’re in a position to take advantage of these offers, it could be well worth it.
What do you make of these World of Hyatt promotions?
Well, first of all, they are not that many Hyatt Place et cetera in Latin America
On top, Hyatt prices in Latin America are completely crazy compared to points.
Grant Hyatt São Paulo for example asks more than USD 500 or 9 TO 12,000 POINTS for end of October ..
This might be a dumb question but where’s the hotel list for Latin America/Caribbean? I can’t find it in the terms
