Radisson Rewards has just announced their latest promotion for summer hotel stays. Up until last spring Radisson Rewards was known as Club Carlson, but it was rebranded at that point, in order to better leverage the name of their flagship brand.
Radisson Rewards members can earn 3,000 bonus points per night, starting with their second night, for stays between for stays between May 27 and August 31, 2019. So you can earn up to a total of 120,000 points, which you’d earn after 41 nights.
Registration is required prior to your first eligible checkout in order to be eligible for the promotion. Free night reservations as well as those booked using a combination of points and cash aren’t eligible.
What I also appreciate is that stays booked prior to the start of the promotion still qualify for the bonus, while in the past they sometimes excluded previously booked stays. All that matters is that you stay during the promotion period.
The promotion is valid for stays at all of Radisson’s 1,100+ hotels around the world, including Radisson Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson RED, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson.
For reference, here’s Radisson Rewards’ award chart, when it comes time to redeem points:
Personally I value Radisson Rewards points at ~0.3 cents each, for some context on how much this promotion is worth.
So earning 3,000 points per night is an additional $9 of value, by my valuation. That’s not a bad return, especially given the low threshold needed to qualify for this promotion. This isn’t a promotion where you need to stay 10 or 20 nights to earn a sizable number of points (in the past Radisson Rewards has sometimes offered tier bonuses with their promotions).
All of these rewards are in addition to the ones you normally earn. Usually you earn 20 points per dollar spent as a non-elite member, and it only goes up from there.
Do you plan on taking advantage of Radisson Rewards’ summer 2019 promotion?
