ZRH lounge question

ZRH lounge question

  1. Anonymous Guest

I am flying CX J to ZRH and will have a layover before flying Y in LX. Will I have access to the one world lounges or will I have to do priority pass for Aspire?

Based on this post from Lucky I believe you will have access.

Yes, you will have access. According to OW’s website:

First and Business Class customers connecting on the same day of travel, or before 6am the following day, can access the lounge when travelling between an international long haul (a oneworld international long haul flight is defined as an international flight marketed and operated by any oneworld carrier with a scheduled flight time longer than 5 hours) and an international short haul or domestic flight (and vice-versa).

ZRH has the Aspire Lounge which seems to be pretty good, I believe this was the Oneworld Lounge when I was there in (2014?). Be sure to hang on to your CX boarding pass to get in.

If you were connecting to a oneworld carrier, you’d have lounge access (as the others have correctly noted above).

However, as you are connecting to Swiss, which is in Star Alliance, you would not be covered under that policy. I’d plan on the Aspire lounge, or purchasing a day pass to the Swiss lounge.
