Roundtrip flights for cheaper positioning

Roundtrip flights for cheaper positioning

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi there,

I live in Doha (Qatar) and want to position my flights out of Cairo (Egypt) on Qatar Airways. I was curious if you may have positioned yourself and caught a roundtrip flight, eg. fly Doha to Cairo and catch the same plane (2 hours later) for the start of my return journey (therefore I am technically transiting in Cairo) but on a separate ticket.

I don’t intend taking checked luggage and am happy to check-in online for my 2nd flight from Cairo to Doha.

Is it possible? What are your thoughts and suggestions?

    Cheers!

Yes, that should be fine. I’ve transited CAI on separate tickets before.
