Marriott elite benefits when booking through OTA

Marriott elite benefits when booking through OTA

  1. Anonymous Guest

I found a great deal for airfare+hotel on Expedia for staying at the Marriott Singapore. I know that Hilton and Hyatt don’t honour elite benefits when booking through OTAs but I couldn’t find anything in the terms and conditions of Marriott which says they don’t honour elite benefits at OTA. Also I know they don’t give points but I’m just wondering whether they give elite benefits.

I’m not 100% positive, but in general you only receive elite benefits when booking directly through a brand or through a travel agent (not an OTA).
