Lounge access on connecting flight

Lounge access on connecting flight

1. Jan S. Member

Hello everyone,

I will be flying from Milwaukee to Munich on Wednesday with a connection in Chicago.
Chicago to Munich is business, Milwaukee to Chicago isn’t (I dont think it is even available on such short flights).
Both flight are Lufthansa (MKE-ORD is carried out by United though).

To the question: Do I have (United) business lounge access in Milwaukee?

Thanks!

Hi Jan.

I believe you normally would in that situation, but there is no United lounge in the airport! The only lounge in Milwaukee is a Delta Skyclub.

Sorry!

Hi @Jan S., and welcome!

You wouldn’t have lounge access, as Star Alliance offers lounge access based on your departure flight: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/08/25/know-lounge-access-international-itineraries/

Thank you for all the information!
I didn’t realize how small the airport (just arrived) -> Maybe I can squeeze in a visit to the lounge in Chicago then.
