Is the UA Polaris lounge ORD staffed

Is the UA Polaris lounge ORD staffed

  1. Rohit Deshpande Member

i book a business class flight for my son this summer from Los Angeles to London with a stopover in Chicago. He is 18 years old. Will he be able to use the Polaris lounge? I know the bar there is staffed but I saw in travis’s review of the lounge that there was a self serve alcohol section. Obviously my son has no interest in drinking but rather a place to eat and shower. Unless that self serve section Travis showed is a part of the staffed bar, will he be able to use the Polaris lounge? Most of The other star alliance lounges at ORD are pretty lousy from my experience so it would be great if this one was there to use. Thanks for your help!

I don’t think he’ll have an issue. I didn’t see anything on the “who can access the Polaris lounge” page that mentioned you must be 18 or accompanied by an adult.
