Hawaiian Airlines/AMEX Transfer Points Deal

Hawaiian Airlines/AMEX Transfer Points Deal

  1. walester Gold

Hawaiian Airlines is my preferred airline, because I live in Hawaii and because I often fly to NY. They offer a very nice daily nonstop flight.

    Recently, I received this offer:

“For a limited time, get 25% additional HawaiianMiles when transferring your American
Express Membership Rewards® points to your HawaiianMiles account. Offer valid from June 12 through June 26, 2018”

I have lots of AMEX points. Keeping them there gives me lots of flexibility, since I can move them to many different airlines as needed. But given my preference for Hawaiian Airlines, is this an offer that is too good to refuse?

    TIA

If you have any bookings you’d like to make soon, it’s definitely a great deal. But, I wouldn’t speculatively transfer a ton, since as you said, keeping them with AMEX gives lots of flexibility.

There is no guarantee the 25% bonus will return, but historically it does come around once per year.
