Anonymous GuestI am traveling this weekend on Etihad from JFK to BOM. I was booked in an economy seat and had the option to use the bid-for-upgrade system. Does anyone know how this works? When I will hear about my upgrade? How likely am I to receive the upgrade?

I think people get notified after the bidding window closes? 72 hours before the flight is my recollection but it’s been a while so I could be mistaken.

You could call EY and make sure everything is all set and that youre not missing anything. But I think these are processed very close to departure, like [USER=79]@Gaurav[/USER] says. Maybe even closer, like 24-48 hours out.
