If the airline cancelled my non refundable flight because of Corona virus, will I be forced to take credit instead of refund . I want a refund because I am 80 yrs old and don’t know if I will be fit enough to take that long flight next year

You should be able to ask for a refund. However, some airlines in some regions of the world are absolutely not doing that and have government backing to break the law by doing that. What airline is your ticket for?
