BA Reward Flight Calculator issue?

Anonymous GuestI’ve tried to access BA’s reward flight calculator from multiple computers and multiple browsers, but am given the message “the Reward Flight Calculator is not available in your region.” I live in Canada. I’ve used their calculator numerous times. I complained to BA via Twitter and they offered to book a flight for me, but offered no insight into why Canadians can no longer see the calculator.
Has anyone else had this difficulty?

Yes, the reward calculator sometimes does not work. I have had that problem many times. I think it depends on the route and country. Try a VPN to change the location of your IP address and then maybe that will work.

As a back up you can use gcmap to look up mileage and compare it to the BA award chart to calculate the mileage cost and ITA matrix to get a ballpark on taxes and fees. Not ideal but might be your only option in a pinch if you can’t get a vpn in place.
