batik New Memberi used 70000 MP points to get a business class seat with LH. The flight is tomorrow and there are two seats available in First. Check in is available now so if I complete it, and the F seat opens later will I be able to use my extra points to change to F? Does checking in negate it? Or if I use 110000 to book the F class seat, will I be able to still cancel the J ticket if I check in already

When you say there are two F seats available you mean they are available for saver bookings, yes? If so just call MP and they should be able to upgrade you for the difference in miles and change fees.
