Third Party Reservation (United Vacations)

Third Party Reservation (United Vacations)

I purchased a 3rd party vacation bundle (air and car) from United Vacations 12/2019. Travel date is May 8th. Service from my airport is showing discontinued and no routing to HNL available. Nothing heard from United Vacations yet. I tried to cancel on UA but they referred me to the 3rd party vendor. Should I contact them or just wait it out? HI has a 14 day quarantine–we don’t want to go and be locked up the whole time we are there (12 days). I contacted them several weeks ago and they said at that time all cancellation penalties would be in force. Thoughts?

I’d at least contact them to see if the penalties are still in force now as it doesn’t appear the quarantine will be lifted anytime soon. You may have to wait until a week out before they’ll waive them but hopefully they’ll do the right thing.

    Thanks for the advice–much appreciated!
