What blog template did you use when starting out/now eg within BoardingArea (who I think take control of the ad side of things) or do you host your own? Any recommendations for a blog site to start my own?

Blogger or WordPress comes to mind.

Yeah, we’re using WordPress, but have always been hosted through BoardingArea. When you’re just starting out, any reasonably-priced hosting company and standard theme is probably fine!
