In November 2024, Singapore Airlines announced a huge investment into its premium passenger experience, which will see the introduction of all-new cabin products, plus the expansion of first class. These cabins will be retrofitted on dozens of Airbus A350s, and will also be available on newly delivered Boeing 777-9s in the future.

Is it possible that their business class seats are being supplied by JAMCO just like their previous seats?
And while it does look higher than the status quo of today's business class seats, it still looks...status quo? The finishes look okay, the layout is nothing revolutionary along with tech.

132 seats on a A350 is crazy to see (and awesome). Qantas is going for 238 on the A350-1000 for project sunrise, which is longer flights. absolutely insane to think they are going to cram 140 economy seats for routes that long
Possible, though JAMCO has made no public statement on developing a new high end business class seat (they may not if it's exclusively for SQ), however, it certainly does look quite a lot like the Safran Unity from teaser images. Same as the EK teaser images - likely the Unity.
Based on the window configuration of the already built SQ 777-9s, I believe it appears that there's three window side rows of first class and consider it a distinct possibility. that these aircraft will actually have 10 business class seats (three rows on the outside, two in the middle.
This is actually good news for those that fly Premium Y on the ULRs. SQ's Y+ fares between NYC and SIN are some of the lowest in its fare class and a reduction of 36 seats wasn't gonna help.
SQ21,22,23,24 are awesome flights; sure, the unique seats in J take a little getting used to, but, I agree, those are a treat, and can be a good value to SE Asia.
Jamco is interesting. In 2023, after they delivered KLM's business class seats, they exited the premium seats market in order to focus on galleys and lavatories.
In 2025, Bain capital took a significant share in Jamco and thereafter they decided to return to the market.
Given the timeline of Singapore airlines (plans originally from 2020) I think Jamco is unlikely as it would make no sense to withdraw from a market with a running order.

For the F seats, it looks like they have 4 windows in the 777 per seat. That would give it a similar footprint as the Air France old product (as the new one has 5 windows, in 1-2-1)
If you compare the photo to to the side view of the JAMCO Quest platform, the resemblance is strikingly similar. I'm not saying it is, but it's something to take a look at more closely.
On top of my comment below, it's interesting to note that JAMCO Aero Design and Engineering (JADE) is a joint venture between JAMCO and SIA Engineering, so it certainly does adds a bit of cred. On top of that, they have worked for years since as far as the first-gen lie-flat product.
We really do like the SQ, F Suites on the A380. However, not so much the current SQ, J seats which we have experienced on the A350. Should they really manage to put the proposed seats on the A350 and 777, then that would be a huge improvement.
In the event that SQ, include a four seat F Cabin (like the AF La Premiere), then in my opinion, that would be a real ‘game changer’. Definitely something to look forward to. With all of the proposed ’new seats’ ‘taking flight’ later this year or next, interesting times ahead.
Honestly, why don't you just wait until it's announced and there's a mockup and true information. No one really cares which blogger is first to put the information out there. It's just a seat.
The delay is unfortunate, but SQ will still deliver in better time than LH could ever manage.

Wow, a center first class seat that can be used by one or two people? No idea who has tried and failed at that before!
But I am glad to see SQ F appear on the ULH A359s. Hoping for good awards availability there
I wonder if its a real production delay of the existing design....or, they went back to the drawing board to change a few features to be competitive and "revolutionary" since other airlines have since announced new seats since SQ's initial teaser....and now this ongoing delay...

This is long-overdue. If SQ goes with Safran Unity, even if they customize it, that would be a major upgrade from the current all-or-nothing lie-flat that they have now on the world's longest flight (a359-ULR). If we need to wait a little longer (November 2026, etc.) for more updates, that's fine.

Once again, you have to appreciate the investment & effort for Singapore to come up with a bespoke product with the likes of Cathay, ANA, Qatar, Emirates and not just an off the shelf seat and apply your own CMF; they seem to have put in effort on the exterior shell of the seat as well as the carpeting.
As they've worked with Jamco before, is it possible this could be based on the Quest platform? I recall someone basing this product off off the Jamco Quest.
Tbh hard product is plateauing across the board. Beyond getting your own private bedroom like The Residence or something, there's only so much space someone can utilize on a flight. If it's already spacious enough to sleep, eat, and relax in, every incremental sqft of space is less and less useful.
While they get a lot of positive PR for their A380 Suites, the soft product has always been what makes SQ standout because SQ otherwise has a very average hard product in business class.
This has the potential to be a massive improvement. I shifted all my SIN-US flying to United Polaris Studio as it is so much more comfortable, but having SQ soft product would be welcome for that long of a flight.
