I booked a R fare on Qatar and wondering where should I credit the miles. Initial thought was to AA but I’m eyeing on JAL F class. Should I credit to JAL stock up the miles?

Well, JAL’s award chart is distance based whereas American’s is region based.
QR R fares earn 100% redeemable miles if credited to AAdvantage, but 125% when credited to JAL Mileage Bank.
Look up how many AA or JAL miles you’d need for the award you want and think about how you’d get the remaining miles needed for the award before deciding.
