Open ticket/flexible ticket

Open ticket/flexible ticket

  1. Anonymous Guest

Open/Flexible tickets, are they more expensive than regular flight tickets? I talked to a friend about this topic, since i’m gonna need a flexible ticket. But he says, that i should be able to get an “Open ticket” which allows me to change by travel date for almost no money. This comes as a surprise to me, since i’ve only found relatively expensive ones, and where i will be forced to pay the aircraft company a fairly large fee to change my ticket.

Does anyone of you have any experience with this?

    Thanks,
    Patrick

Patrick, you are correct. You will have to pay more for flexibility. Change fees are the trade off for cheap fares.
