Hi Everyone, I’m sure I recall reading an article by Lucky a while ago in which he said he found nothing the the T&C about having to use the Platinum card in order to qualify for the benefits of Global Assistance. I couldn’t find it here. I’d like to use the CSR pay the airfare, because of the travel interruption insurance, but would like to be covered in case of medical or other emergency. Can anyone find that article? Thanks!

Whether it’s in the T&Cs or not, I like to think and assume that I’m only eligible for whatever travel protection a card offers if I pay for a trip with that particular card. You might want to call Amex instead to find more definitive info.
