Hi everyone, more of a tip than a question. United Premium Plus fares have access to Lufthansa (and presumably other partner) premium economy. The good news is that you can get PQDs and revenue-based miles in LH premium economy. The bad news is that you cannot buy access into LH lounges if you have UA ticket number. Confirmed both in Boston and in Frankfurt – only LH-ticketed premium economy passengers are eligible to buy lounge vouchers.

The good news is that you get PQDs and award miles based on UA status and ticket cost (can be quite a bit more than distance and cabin based miles from an LH ticket). The bad news is that you cannot buy lounge vouchers. Confirmed both in Boston and in Frankfurt – only LH ticketed premium economy passengers are eligible for paid lounge access.
