DSENT New MemberI recently took a business trip from STL>GLA on AA. This was a paid ticket ~$2900 in Economy (K). On my return from GLA>PHL I paid for an upgrade to Business for about $500. Should I have received any extra points for flying this leg in Business class? I don’t see anything in my account activity for the business leg or the cost of the upgrade. I did not use an AA branded card.

No because your base fare class was still K.

When you pay for an upgrade, you still earn based on the original fare class booked. so in this case you shouldn’t be receiving anything extra.
