Best Star Alliance Family Share Mile Programs

Hey,

I’m traveling with my family (6 people total) on SAS from EWR to COP in about a month. None of them care/know about miles, so I figured I could create a family share account and pool all the miles so I could use them at a later date. I believe both ANA and Asiana have family share programs, but I wanted to ask which would be most beneficial to use. We’re flying in economy and I don’t have any status with star alliance. Thanks!
