Have found a decent fare with ANA in their 777-300ER business class from New York to Narita and back, and was wondering what people’s thoughts are on the product. The seat looks really tight, but then again the reviews are all very good and the product comes highly recommended.

Any thoughts?

I recently flew ANA on their 787-9, Sydney – Haneda in December 2017. It was a night flight so I slept for the majority of it. I found the cabin quite hot and the seat to not be as comfortable as I would have liked, that said, the food and service were incredible. At any time during the flight, you can order from an extensive range of snacks (I would recommend the ramen) and they prepare it very quickly. The entertainment system was not very well designed and the selections were quite poor so maybe pre-download some shows from Netflix…

Overall it was a pretty good flight, and the mattress pad they provide makes a large difference while sleeping.

For the route you are taking there aren’t many options, however, if I were you I would try to go on JAL then ANA then AA and then UA.
