Applied for American Express Aspire card and did the required spend. No 150,000 bonus and when I called the agent gave me the run around about the pop-up that I might not be eligible because of my history with Am Ex. Have only opened a few cards and only closed one about 5 years ago.
I din’t receive the pop-up when I applied so from what I have read about others am guessing that Am Ex is denying bonuses in more and more cases when they think you won’t be a strong customer.
Pretty unfair to not give fair disclosure of this policy so beware.
