Airport Gym @ BWI

Airport Gym @ BWI

Just passing along to anyone who may be interested. I was a couple hours early for a flight this afternoon at BWI, and decided to check out the new Roam Fitness Gym.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked up to find that they partner with Priority Pass. Unfortunately, it doesn’t make it free, but you do get 20% off (brings a day pass down to $19.99). They did ask if I was in the military (which I’m not), which probably would have been any even further discount, or made the pass free.

The gym is actually very nice. It’s small (obviously), but has everything you’d look for including free weights, rowing machines, treadmills, TRX, medicine balls, stretching area, etc. They let you borrow clothes for free, or you can wear your own and vacuum seal them afterwards so they don’t stink up your luggage.

The showers are top-notch, too. I’d argue they are on-par, if not nicer, than many international business class lounge showers.

The gym is located in Concourse D/E, which is the international terminal and home for Delta, Spirit, JetBlue and United.

Definitely worth checking out if you happen to be at BWI! The lounge situation at BWI in general is pretty lacking, so this is a welcome addition 😎
