I’ll be the first to admit that I know almost nothing about TikTok. I’m getting old, and the whole concept seems confusing to me. However, a friend linked me to some airline TikToks, and they cracked me up. I figure we can all use some airline humor at this point, so I wanted to share them here.
A TikTok user uploaded a video about what it would be like if airlines were people, and it’s pretty spot on. Featured in part one are Delta, Southwest, JetBlue, and Spirit, and featured in part two are American and Frontier. Apparently a part three is coming soon.

Enjoy while you can since your fearless leader says he will block TikTok in the US. The more he dislikes China, the closer the US moves towards Communism. Mimicking Hong Kong in Portland, blocking the internet, talking about moving elections. What a country. Brazil might be an upgrade.
While I appreciate the humour, I am not supporting that Chinese CCP monitored app nor do I think sensible people should be using / promoting it.
I love TikTok dude it's addicting as hell but gives me so much needed humor to pass the time in these trying times. Im way younger than you Ben but I feel like there's something for everyone on TikTok!
The Delta, American and United characters are my favorite. Pretty much sums up these airlines.

As a Georgia Tech alumnus, I'm not sure whether to be amused or offended by the Delta character. Either way, I'm pretty sure I know about 13 people who it could be based on!

I guess then all the Wyze Cam security cameras should be reconsidered if used considering how cheap they are meaning almost everyone who knows about them has them installed. They do a far better job than any $400 security camera.
Hi Ben! I'm the one who made these videos. I've been a long-time reader and your blog is one of my favorite (if not favorite) travel sites out there. I'm glad you loved these. I'm also getting (relatively) old so I don't know what I'm doing on the app either but at least I was able to spread some humor in the aviation community. (Like I commented on your FB post, yes a pt 3 is coming!)

You should check out the "Don't rush Challenge videos" with Cabin crews and pilots getting ready for work from Emirates, Etihad, KLM, some US carriers to name a few. Ordinary folk transformed into the best looking folk in the skies. They are usually compilation of various Tik Tok videos into one YouTube video.

TikTok is just a Chinese knock-off Vine, with the added feature that the application executable has pretty much every form of ad based surveillance known to man, so that's providing the revenue that Vine never got to. As adults in our 30s, I don't use it but my husband does, on an old cell phone without a sim card, which was factory reset prior to installing TikTok.
