I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far! I have no more travel planned for the rest of the year, so plan to continue to get caught up on trip reports, prior to hitting the road again in early 2025. I'm kind of happy about the lack of travel, as this has been an absolutely wild week when it comes to news in the airline and hotel industry.
On the points & travel front, this week American and Citi announced an exclusive credit card agreement, the Chase Sapphire Lounge San Diego opened, Hyatt started allowing suite and upgrade awards to be applied online, the DOT proposed cash compensation for flight delays, JetBlue made major network changes, and much, much more.
