I was able to book Xiamen business class for a November trip. I am flying to Shanghai on the outbound and returning from Beijing on the inbound. It is $1998 round trip. It was the same cost flying into Beijing and flying out of Shanghai.
I really appreciate your blog and thought I would post for your information. On your advice, I flew Xiamen from Seattle to Shenzhen on business class and loved the experience.
My only frustration is that I was unable to use Amex points on Xiamen. Amex Travel does not book Xiamen.
