I am planning a trip to Malaysia later next year. Hopefully by then the world will be somewhat back to normal. Do you guys think it’s safe to book my flights now? I’m thinking worse case I have to re-book it there are still lock downs. SA Covid policy seems pretty change friendly right now. I’m just a little hesitant to transfer a ton of miles, and book our flights, when the whole region is on lock down.

Hi Bill, no one will be able to tell you what the situation will be then. So to your point, you can book it and take advantage of the flexible policies out there and you should be able to make adjustments depending on how things are then. But if any region in the world will be in lock down at any point next year is anyone’s guess.
