Might have been a one-time, last minute aircraft swap.
The aircraft used for ORD-DXB in the last week all operate to a handful of the same destinations, but not to MUC, BRU, GVA and STN, where EK currently flies the new F regularly.
I think only FLL has EK’s new J seats but on 772s that dont have F.
