Has Qatar Started Updating A330 Business Class?

Hi Lucky,

I came across this video review of Qatar A330 business class. As I watched the video I noticed that the seats weren’t the normal A330 seats that are outdated! They look similar to the A340 seats but a nicer and more updated version! Is this true or am I missing something? This certainly can’t be the new ‘Super Business’ as its still a 2-2-2 configuration but something interesting to look into!

Hmmmm… that’s definitely the seat that they have on the a346. Maybe they went to it because they wouldn’t need to do a redesign to fit the a330 since the a330 and a340 have the exact same fuselage

Thats what I was thinking but I was a little confused as I hadnt heard they were upgrading their a330s??
