I booked a first class ticket thru Alaska on Emirates from ORD to Doha the end of Oct. I arrive at 10:20pm. The next day at 8:30am I have an economy award ticket to JRO on Qatar booked thru British Air. No business class has opened up but I keep looking.
I heard a rumor that if you had at least an 8 hour flight on Emirates you can get into the Emirates business class lounge in Doha even though I do not have an Emirates transit ticket. Just trying to decide if I should book the airport hotel or not.

Hi Rose, I haven’t heard of that (though maybe someone else has?). I wouldn’t plan on having lounge access.
