Citi ThankYou to Virgin to Alaska

Citi ThankYou to Virgin to Alaska

  1. Anonymous Guest

I’m wondering if converting my Citi ThankYou points to Virgin Elevate Points at a 1:1.25 and then converting those to Alaska miles at 1:1.3 is as good a conversion as it sounds. It would appear that I can take 50,000 TY points and make them 81,250 MP miles which seems like a pretty good deal. What am I missing?

    Hi Kitty!

That would be a great idea, but Citi ThankYou points transfer to Virgin Atlantic at a 1:1.25 ratio not Virgin America, and only the latter transfers to Alaska.

The Citi to Virgin America ratio is 1000 to 500, so not really a great deal.
