Citi sign up bonus question

Citi sign up bonus question

  1. Anonymous Guest

Right now I have the city prestige but don’t see the value in keeping it past my renewal date. I see citi has a 60000 point bonus on the premier card right now. I know the language says you aren’t eligible for a sign up bonus if any thank you card has been opened or closed in the past 24 months so I’m wondering, can I apply for the premier and get the bonus and then cancel the prestige? Or will this set of some flag with citi bank?

Nope, that is the ideal plan. You just have to make sure you’re meeting the 24 month rule with the Prestige.
