Brazil to China – which carrier in biz class?

Brazil to China – which carrier in biz class?

  1. Jim R New Member

Need to book a RT biz class journey GRU PEK in a few weeks. I am AA EXP and want to stay in OW if possible and also want to try one of the Gulf carriers for the first time. QR flies the route through Doha, but looks like they use a 777-300 and 777-200 and the schedule is pretty awful (4:15 am departure, for example). My question is, is it worth going QR given the aircraft — would I get the full experience? — or is it better to save a few (thousand!) dollars and go with a tried and true but boring TAM / BA routing through Europe, or AA through the US? What would you do?

Thanks if you can offer any perspective or wisdom.
