Booking with BA Avios on internal US flights- How?

Booking with BA Avios on internal US flights- How?

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Lucky,
I am trying to book flights from ATL to EWR using BA Avios miles via BA web site. However, I keep getting the message that BA or Partners do not fly this route, which is not correct, as American airlines does files between these cities via CLT. What am I missing here?
    Thanks for your help

Are you searching on the correct website? The Avios redemption booking page is different from the regular page.

Are you sure there is availability? Check using Alaska Airline’s website for award availability. If it’s there, BA should also have access (if not on their website, give BA a call)

Also check segment by segment. Sometimes BA has problems with connections. You can then call BA to put both on the same record locator. Good luck!!
