AMX MR > Virgin Atlantic > Hilton?

AMX MR > Virgin Atlantic > Hilton?

Lucky, I’m short a few thou Hilton points. Rather than convert directly from AMX MR, I thought to convert into VX and then after the points post, convert those same points into Hilton. VX converts to Hilton at a rate of 2:3. Will VX allow the conversion on points that have been converted into their loyalty account? I can’t see why not, but I’m just curious if you know of any restrictions. Thanks.

Trumble–are you sure you can transfer Virgin America points to Hilton? I’ve never heard of this. Do you have a link?
