AA schedule change rule

AA schedule change rule

  1. Anonymous Guest

I have a J ticket booked using AA miles on ATN and AA, AKL-PPT-LAX-SLC. I just received a schedule change that delayed departure by 1 hr 10 min. I still arrive at the same time but the connection in PPT was cut to 50 min (guessing it’s not a problem since it’s a continuing flight). Do I qualify for a free change under the AA rules. Not sure if it’s worth trying for AA’s nonstop to LAX. Thoughts???

You can ask! That’s still a legal connection, and you’ll still arrive at the same time, but you might find an agent willing to do it.
